About us.

Founded in 2023, The Indie Night exists to champion independent music and create memorable live experiences for both artists and audiences.

What makes us different is our ability to match artists with the right room, atmosphere and audience. We work across multiple venues, allowing us to host everything from intimate acoustic performances and album signings to full-band headline shows.

At the heart of our programme is Mr Shaws House (50 capacity), a unique and intimate space perfectly suited to stripped-back acoustic sets, songwriter rounds, fan Q&As and signing events. For artists looking to connect with their audience in a more personal setting, there are few better environments.

As artists grow, we can scale events across our other partner venues, including The Vic Inn (120 capacity), Dubrek Studios (100 capacity) and The Hairy Dog (500 capacity). This gives us the flexibility to support developing artists, established touring acts and special one-off events while ensuring every show has the right atmosphere.

Since launching, we've been proud to work with artists including GANS, Alex Spencer, Nigel Clark (Dodgy), Carol Hodge, Jess Silk, Liam C, Ryan Dunn (formerly of Gazelle), Long Island, The Outcharms, The Chase and Spangled, alongside many of the UK's most exciting emerging talents.
